CallStopper Terms of Use
Last updated: June 18, 2026
Acceptance
These Terms govern your use of CallStopper, an Android utility provided by Namode Studio. By installing or using CallStopper, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.
What CallStopper does
CallStopper helps users create local rules for screening and rejecting incoming calls. Features may include pattern-based rules, whitelist entries, contact bypass, block history, SMS notification filtering, import, and export.
CallStopper depends on Android system capabilities, including the Call Screening role. Availability and behavior may differ by Android version, device manufacturer, carrier, region, and system settings.
Your responsibility
- You are responsible for the rules and whitelist entries you create.
- You should test rules carefully to avoid blocking calls you want to receive.
- You are responsible for backup files you export and share.
- You must use CallStopper in compliance with applicable laws and mobile carrier terms.
Limitations
CallStopper is provided as a practical utility, not as an emergency, safety, anti-fraud, or telecommunications guarantee. We do not guarantee that every unwanted call will be blocked, that every allowed call will ring, or that SMS notifications can always be hidden.
Do not rely on CallStopper as your only protection against scams, fraud, harassment, or emergencies. Always use judgment when receiving calls or messages from unknown senders.
Availability, updates, and discontinuation
Namode Studio may update, change, suspend, or discontinue CallStopper or any feature. Updates may be required for compatibility with Android platform changes or Google Play policy requirements.
Intellectual property
CallStopper, Namode Studio branding, design, and related materials are owned by Namode Studio or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app except as permitted by applicable law or written permission.
Disclaimer
CallStopper is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. Namode Studio disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Namode Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, missed calls, business interruption, or similar losses arising from use of CallStopper.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product changes. The updated version will show a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of CallStopper after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
